**Job Summary:** We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Picker/Packer to join our warehouse team. The Picker/Packer will be responsible for accurately picking and packing products for shipment to ensure timely delivery to customers. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Order Picking:** Accurately pick products from inventory based on order specifications. Ensure correct items, quantities, and conditions are selected. + **Packing:** Safely pack items into boxes or other shipping containers. Use appropriate packing materials to prevent damage during transit. + **Labeling:** Affix shipping labels to packages. Ensure labels are correctly matched with the corresponding orders and include accurate shipping information. + **Inventory Management:** Assist with inventory control by performing regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies. Organize and maintain the warehouse to ensure easy access to products. + **Quality Control:** Inspect products for defects or damage before packing. Report any issues to the supervisor. + **Shipping:** Prepare packages for shipment, including sorting, weighing, and arranging for transport. Ensure all documentation is completed accurately. + **Safety and Compliance:** Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Follow company policies and procedures for handling and storing products. **Qualifications:** + High school diploma or equivalent preferred. + Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is a plus but not required. + Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to [weight] lbs) and stand for extended periods. + Basic math skills for counting and measuring items. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy. + Good organizational and time management skills. + Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. + Familiarity with warehouse management systems and equipment is a plus. **Working Conditions:** + Fast-paced warehouse environment. + Potential exposure to varying temperatures depending on warehouse conditions. + Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. **Pay Details:** $17.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
