**Job Title: Picker and Packer** **Job Description** The individuals working in this role will be responsible for picking medical products to be shipped to various locations, primarily hospitals or pharmacies. Upon arrival at work, they will put a scanner on their wrist, scan the bins on their cart, and the system on their wrist will guide them to the specific locations in the aisle to pick their products. They will then rescan the bin, scan the product, and place the product into their bins until all bins are full. Once the bins are full, they will bring them to a staging area where others will palletize the product for shipping. These individuals will be on their feet all evening, picking and packing the products. The system they wear on their wrist will take them on the quickest route to pick their items by location. There is also an opportunity to train and move into operating cherry picker forklifts and rotate to the shipping area if interested. **Responsibilities** + Pick medical products to be shipped to hospitals or pharmacies. + Use a wrist scanner to locate and pick products. + Rescan bins and products, and place items into bins. + Transport full bins to the staging area for palletizing. + Operate a cherry picker forklift if trained and interested. + Rotate to the shipping area if interested. + Work on feet for 8-10 hours a day, walking at a fast pace. + Stay until the job is done each night, including overtime when necessary. **Essential Skills** + Reliable transportation. + Ability to be on feet for 8-10 hours a day, walking at a fast pace. + Basic computer skills. + Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. + Willingness to work overtime each night until the job is done. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with picking, packing, warehouse operations, and using scanners. + Forklift operation and shipping & receiving skills are a plus. + Experience with inventory management and palletizing. **Why Work Here?** This company promotes from within, offering opportunities for advancement into inventory, forklift, lead, office, and supervisory roles. Employees do stretches every night before the shift as a team. The pace is fast but manageable, with a lot of camaraderie and teamwork. The shift runs from 7 pm to 3:30 am, with overtime often extending the end time to 4-5 am, especially on Sundays and Mondays. The rest of the week usually involves an 8-hour day with possible 1-2 hours of overtime depending on workload. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.85 - $21.85/hr.
