Summary: Aerial Patrol of Company Pipeline Systems
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Primary objectives during low level patrol are the identification, reporting, and deterrence of third party activities potentially impacting the pipeline, pipeline leak reporting, and rights-of-way condition monitoring including the identification of washouts, exposures, river crossing conditions, etc. Also includes timely reconnaissance flights following severe weather related type events.Requirements: Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Commercial Pilot Certificate with an Instrument rating in a single-engine land aircraft. Five years flying experience with a preferred minimum of 1500 hours total flight time. HS Diploma or equivalent Hold and maintain a Second Class FAA Medical Certificate. Good organizational, problem solving, and decision making skills. Able to work without direct supervision. Able to work effectively with Field personnel in encroachment mitigation. Subject to extended workdays, work weeks, and call-outs for emergency response. Must have a proven safe driving record, provide documentation of past traffic violations upon request, and maintain a valid driver's license.Working Conditions: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
