Overview This role is positioned in the Global Foods R&D organization located at our TPC facility in Dallas, Texas. This role is responsible for leading our Sanitation agenda with the primary accountability to ensure site compliance with food safety and regulatory guidelines. As a Sanitation Coordinator, you will lead a sanitation team, manage and schedule sanitation activities and manage sanitation supply inventory. You will ensure your team has the training necessary to complete all tasks safely and in compliance with SSOPs (standard sanitation operating procedures). In addition, you will maintain focus on audit preparedness and participate in AIB, FSSC22000, and FDA audits. This role requires prior knowledge of sanitation policies and practices, ability to train and lead a team good verbal and written communication. Normal working hours for this role is 6pm – 2:30am but hours will flex occasionally based on work to be completed. Responsibilities Maintaining a clean and sanitary production facility, leading sanitation staff and ensuring site compliance with Pepsico Food Safety and regulatory programs. Monitor, train, and lead sanitation employee daily activities. Manage cleaning schedules and proper allocation of resources (labor, supplies, equipment, and time) while planning and executing for successful daily and weekly sanitation activities. Manage chemical and consumable inventory levels throughout the plant daily; coordinate communication and necessary activities with the chemical supplier as needed. Ensure all Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOP’s) are followed and at the highest standards for quality, safety, and compliance. Maintain accurate records and documentation of the cleaning performed and inspect for areas needing attention. Manage Master Sanitation Schedule and swabbing programs (ATP, PCS, PEM). Review internal food safety inspections and assists in prioritizing outstanding items for resolution. Participate in site audits and regulatory inspections across all areas of responsibility. Prepare the plant to be audit-ready every day – AIB, FSSC22000, FDA. Contribute knowledge and expertise regarding sanitation practices to the development process by working closely with the product development team. Work effectively in a team environment. Support Retail, Limited Time Offerings, and Trade Call productions. Manage required compliance programs and documentation – Safety, Sanitation, Food Safety, Environmental. Compensation & Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $50,600 - $75,950. Qualifications 3-5 years sanitation experience in a manufacturing environment or in an R&D testing center, with preference for the food industry. Mechanical aptitude needed. Previous experience with AIB, FSSC2200 and/or FDA. Demonstrated capability to lead others to accomplish daily tasks. Demonstrated capability to prioritize tasks and solve daily operational issues. Flexible – willingness to work off-shifts and weekends. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Ability to work safely in an industrial environment. Demonstrated self-starter and can work with limited supervision (either self-identified tasks or assigned). Strong written, verbal communication, skills and basic computer skills. Strong administrative and organizational skills.
