**Job Title: Pipe Fitter**
**Job Description**
As a Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for fitting large pipes, 8 inches and up, performing saddle cuts, using a cutting torch, tape measure, beveler, and tack welding. You will also need to read blueprints to complete your tasks accurately. We are looking for candidates who are flexible and can work either day or night shifts, starting at 5 AM or PM.
**Responsibilities**
+ Fit large pipes, 8 inches and up
+ Perform saddle cuts
+ Use cutting torch, tape measure, and beveler
+ Perform tack welding
+ Read and interpret blueprints
**Essential Skills**
+ 3-5 years of experience as a pipe fitter in a manufacturing company
+ Ability to pass a written pipe fitter test
+ Possession of a blue book
+ Experience with tack welding
+ Proficiency in saddle cut/fish mouth techniques
+ Experience with pipe beveling
+ Ability to read blueprints
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in pipe fabrication and assembly

**Work Environment**
You will be working in a manufacturing shop that is non-climate controlled. Please be prepared for varying temperatures and conditions. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Houston, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $31.00
