**Pipefitter** Austin, TX **Job Description** This role involves working on the Discovery building for the Engineering building at the UT campus. The job requires expertise in carbon and steel pipefitting, specifically working with chilled water systems and carbon steel piping ranging from 4 to 30 inches in diameter. **Responsibilities** + Perform carbon and steel pipefitting tasks. + Work with chilled water systems and carbon steel piping. + Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. + Work outside all day, including on roofs and at heights. + Collaborate with the team to pick up slack where needed. + Maintain a positive attitude and catch on quickly to new tasks. **Essential Skills** + 2-5 years of commercial service pipefitting experience. + Comfortable with small spaces, sinks plumbing, and toilet plumbing. + Proficient in plumbing, service plumbing, pipe fitting, fabrication, blueprint reading, welding, and industrial piping. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing work environments. + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. **Why Work Here?** Great company to work for.
