Job Description

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced pipefitter to join our team in constructing and maintaining ice hockey rinks. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of pipefitting, with specific experience in refrigeration systems and ice rink construction. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

ResponsibilitiesInstall, assemble, and maintain piping systems for ice hockey rinks, including refrigeration and cooling systems.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout and installation of piping systems.Perform welding, cutting, and threading of pipes, typically around 1 inch in diameter, as required.Ensure all piping systems are installed according to industry standards and safety regulations.Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of piping systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.Troubleshoot and repair any issues with piping systems, including leaks, blockages, and malfunctions.Collaborate with other construction team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered.QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of experience as a pipefitter, with specific experience in ice rink construction and refrigeration systems.Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.Strong knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations related to pipefitting and refrigeration systems.Ability to travel weeks at a time.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Willing to obtain DOT physical card.Clean driving record.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
