**Job Title: Pipefitter** **Job Description** This position involves working on the Discovery building for the Engineering building at the UT campus. You will be responsible for pipefitting tasks including working with carbon and steel piping. The job requires familiarity with chilled water systems and the ability to work with piping ranging from 4 to 30 inches. **Responsibilities** + Perform carbon and steel pipefitting tasks. + Work with chilled water systems and carbon steel piping. + Operate and fit piping ranging from 4 to 30 inches. + Work outside all day, including on roofs and at heights. + Pick up slack where needed and ensure tasks are completed efficiently. + Maintain a positive attitude and adapt quickly to the work environment. **Essential Skills** + 2-5 years of commercial service pipefitting experience. + Proficiency in plumbing, service plumbing, pipe fitting, fabrication, blueprint reading, welding, and fitting. + Experience with industrial piping. + Comfortable working in small spaces, including under sinks and around toilets. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to catch on quickly and stay up to speed with tasks. + Good attitude and willingness to work hard. **Why Work Here?** Great company to work for with good benefits and a family-oriented culture.
