**Job Title: Pipe Fitter** **Job Description** As a Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for fitting large pipes, 8 inches and up. You will perform saddle cuts, use a cutting torch, tape measure, beveler, and tack welding. Additionally, you will be required to read blueprints to ensure accurate assembly and installation. **Requirements** + Fit large pipes, 8 inches and up + Perform saddle cuts using a cutting torch + Measure and cut pipes accurately using a tape measure + Bevel pipes as required + Perform tack welding + Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate assembly and installation + Work efficiently in both day and night shifts starting at 5 AM or PM **Essential Skills** + 3-5 years of experience as a pipe fitter in a manufacturing company + Ability to pass a written pipe fitter test + Proficiency in tack welding + Experience with saddle cuts and pipe beveling + Ability to read and interpret blueprints **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Possession of a blue book **Why Work Here?** We offer a dynamic and challenging work environment where your skills will be valued and utilized. You will be required to work efficiently in varying temperatures and conditions. Day and night shifts are available, with each shift starting at 5 AM or 5 PM. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Houston, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $31.00/hr.
