**Job Title: Pipe Fitter**
**Job Description**
As a Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for fitting large pipes, 8 inches and up. You will perform saddle cuts, use a cutting torch, tape measure, beveler, and tack welding. Additionally, you will be required to read blueprints to ensure accurate assembly and installation.
**Requirements**
+ Fit large pipes, 8 inches and up
+ Perform saddle cuts using a cutting torch
+ Measure and cut pipes accurately using a tape measure
+ Bevel pipes as required
+ Perform tack welding
+ Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate assembly and installation
+ Work efficiently in both day and night shifts starting at 5 AM or PM
**Essential Skills**
+ 3-5 years of experience as a pipe fitter in a manufacturing company
+ Ability to pass a written pipe fitter test
+ Proficiency in tack welding
+ Experience with saddle cuts and pipe beveling
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Possession of a blue book

**Work Environment**
This position is based in a manufacturing shop that is non-climate controlled. You will be required to work efficiently in varying temperatures and conditions. Day and night shifts are available, with each shift starting at 5 AM or 5 PM.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Houston, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $31.00/hr.
