Summary: Seeking a Pipe Fitter Class 1 with expertise in pipe schematics, installation drawings, and various pipe fitting techniques for permanent positions.

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years' experience in the pipefitting trade

Ability to interpret pipe schematics, isometrics, and installation drawings

Proficient in using hand tools and power tools associated with the trade

Knowledgeable in identifying pipe sizes, schedules, alloys, and fittings

Understanding of standard/metric measurements and math related to the trade

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with different types of valves and their functions

Experience fabricating pipe spools for Butt Weld, Socket Weld, and Threaded systems

Competency in taking center-to-center measurements for field run systems

Ability to fabricate and install supports for piping systems

Job Responsibilities:

Follow verbal or written instructions from supervisors

Fabricate piping systems using proper fit-up techniques

Perform pneumatic and hydrostatic testing of systems

Work independently with minimal supervision

Train subordinates through on-the-job training (OJT)

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Must regularly stand, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb stairs and ladders.
