Job Title: Pipe Laborer

Location: East Stroudsburg, PA

Job Summary: The Pipe Laborer will work as part of a team to install, repair, and maintain sewer, storm, and water pipelines. This role involves hands-on work in outdoor environments, requiring physical stamina and a commitment to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the installation of sewer, storm, and water pipelines.Excavate trenches and ditches using hand tools and heavy machinery.Align and position pipes for welding or sealing.Apply protective coatings to pipelines to prevent corrosion.Perform pressure testing on installed pipelines to ensure integrity.Carry out maintenance and repair work on existing pipelines.Operate machinery such as backhoes, excavators, and trenchers.Follow safety procedures and protocols at all times.Prepare and clean job sites, handle materials, and assist with equipment maintenance.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.Ability to work in various weather conditions.Physical fitness to handle heavy materials and tools.Basic math and problem-solving skills.Ability to read and understand project plans and drawings.OSHA 10-hour certification (can be obtained after employment).Excavation and Trench Training (can be obtained after employment).

Preferred Skills:

Experience with pipeline installation and maintenance.Familiarity with using small power tools and heavy machinery.Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.

Work Environment:

Exposure to extreme temperatures and weather conditions.Exposure to loud noise levels and hazardous equipment.Physical demands include standing for long periods, bending, twisting, and lifting heavy materials.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly wage based on experience.Benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00
