Underground Utilities Pipelayer Location: Thousand Oaks, CA Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (with some overtime expected) Pay: $30 - $38 per hour Responsibilities: + Pipe Installation: Measure, cut, and lay pipes in the trenches, ensuring they are properly aligned and connected. + Joint Sealing: Seal joints between pipes to prevent leaks, using appropriate materials and techniques. + Inspection: Inspect pipes and connections for accuracy and integrity, making adjustments as necessary. + Coordination: Work with other construction crew members such as machine operators and helpers to ensure the project progresses smoothly and safely. + Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and best practices to maintain a safe work environment. Qualifications: + Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in pipe laying or a related field. + Elevations: Ability to shoot elevations off a stake. + Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions. + Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure pipes are laid correctly and securely.
