**Job Description: Utilities Technician/Pipe Layer** Position: **Pipe Layer** Location: **Sava** We are hiring utilities technicians to work on a pipe crew. This will be a full time position working on site development in the Savannah GA area. **_Responsibilities:_** + Install and repair water, sewer, and storm drainage pipes. + Lay out pipe routes, following blueprints and project specifications. + Dig trenches and ensure proper pipe alignment and grade. + Connect pipes using various methods, including welding, cementing, and threading. + Inspect and test installed pipe systems for leaks and proper functioning. + Operate and maintain construction equipment and tools. + Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times. + Collaborate with other construction team members to ensure project completion on time and within budget. **_Qualifications:_** + Must have 3+ years of Experience + Proven experience as a Pipe Layer or similar role in construction. + Knowledge of pipe laying techniques and materials. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications. + Proficiency in using construction tools and equipment. + Strong physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions. + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. **_Benefits:_** + Competitive salary and benefits package. + Opportunities for career growth and development. + Supportive and collaborative work environment. + Comprehensive training and safety programs.
