Exciting Pipe TIG Welder Opportunity in Pineville, NC!

We are seeking skilled TIG welders to join our dynamic team for a short-term project. This position focuses on pipe welding only, utilizing TIG welding techniques to work with carbon and stainless steel. If you have a passion for precision welding and the ability to follow instructions carefully, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Project Duration: 3-4 months
Shift: 1st Shift (5:30 AM - 1:30 PM)
Schedule:

Monday to Thursday: 10-hour shifts

Friday: 8-hour shift

Compensation: $22-$24/hour (depending on experience)

 

Responsibilities:

Perform GTAW welding on carbon and stainless-steel metals.

Read and follow weld procedures and project specifications.

Maintain quality and consistency with every weld, adhering to production timelines (2” schedule 80 6G test will be administered).

Collaborate with the team to ensure all welds meet QC standards.

Maintain a clean and organized work area in line with lean manufacturing principles.

 

Requirements:

Comfortable with computer usage (clocking in/out, scanning orders).

High school diploma or GED preferred.

At least one year of welding experience preferred.

Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and work in various positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead).

Must be able to pass a 2” schedule 80 C/S pipe welding test (TIG).

Hiring Process:

Weld test will be conducted at our client’s facility, with sessions available on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.

You'll know by the end of your session whether we intend to hire, based on initial weld appearance.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
