**Job Title: Code Welder** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Code Welder to join our team. The role involves engineering and manufacturing of steam generation and gas turbine Co-generation equipment. You will layout, fit, and weld from blueprints a variety of weldments, pressure vessels, and piping built to A.S.M.E. boiler codes and weld procedures, as well as customer requirements. **Responsibilities** + Layout, fit, and weld from blueprints a variety of weldments, pressure vessels, and piping to A.S.M.E. boiler codes and weld procedures. + Perform TIG welding as a primary task, with opportunities for MIG welding depending on skill level. + Fabricate structural steel casings customized to surround pressure vessels in power plant environments. + Execute code piping, fit, and weld interconnecting runs for field assembly. + Conduct code welding of boiler tubes to pressure parts. **Essential Skills** + At least 3 years of experience with TIG welding. + Ability to pass a 6G weld test and other relevant certifications. + At least 1 year of experience with Stick and Flux Core welding (Education may be considered). + Proficiency in reading blueprints and performing welding to specified codes and procedures. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience working in similar environments, such as Arrow Tank or Chart. + A Technical School Degree in Welding is strongly preferred but not required. + Experience with TIG welding on pipe is ideal. **Why Work Here?** This is an excellent opportunity to join a prominent company in the oil and gas industry, specializing in complex fabrications and major boiler systems.
