**Job Title: Pipefitter, up to $35/hr., and $100 Per diem** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pipefitter to join our team for a long-term project at a new-build high school in central Ohio. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing piping systems, including various types and sizes of pipes, using different methods and materials. This is a full-time position with a first shift schedule, offering competitive pay and per diem for travelers. **Responsibilities** + Install piping systems, including propress copper piping, Victaulic clamp style fittings, and various types of utility and process piping. + Consult blueprints, work orders, schematics, or instructions to determine layouts and connections. + Install piping for plumbing, heating, cooling, gas, water, and other systems. + Weld, cut, bend, thread, solder, and fit pipes. + Attach pipes and piping systems to walls using brackets, bracket systems, or clamps, and cut or bore holes as needed. + Inspect pipes, test for pressure and leaks, and report or resolve any issues. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of pipefitting experience at commercial or industrial construction sites. + Experience installing Victaulic clamp style fittings and propress copper pipes. + OSHA 10 certification or higher. + Possession of basic hand tools (cordless drill, wrench, pliers, screwdriver, hammer, etc.). + Reliable transportation and a valid license. + Boom/scissor lift certification (can be acquired during onboarding). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Pipefitting Journeyman card/license. + Experience as a millwright, iron/steel worker, and/or pipe welding experience at commercial or industrial construction sites. + OSHA 30 certification. + Experience with welding and pipe installation. **Why Work Here?** We offer a long-term project with competitive pay, per diem for travelers, and opportunities for overtime hours.
