Job Title: Pipefitter

Job Description

Interpret shop drawings, perform complex rigging, and precision installation of equipment, machinery, or components including anchoring, leveling, and aligning. A large component of this position is the ability to read and process information for construction or fabrication.

ResponsibilitiesInterpret shop drawings and read isometrics.Perform complex rigging and precision installation of equipment, machinery, or components.Anchor, level, and align equipment and machinery.Read and process information for construction or fabrication.Utilize industrial, mechanical, and welding skills.Operate tools such as pipe machines, burning torches, grinders, porta-band machines, chain falls, hand tools, and mobile equipment.Read Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (PNID).Install structural steel and perform welding tasks.Essential Skills3+ years of pipe fitting experience.Proficiency in using industrial, mechanical, and welding tools.Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and isometrics.Understanding of Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (PNID).Experience with installation of structural steel and welding.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with new construction and shutdown projects.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The job sites will vary depending on the scope of the project, primarily in industrial construction settings. Candidates should expect to work early first shifts, typically 8-10 hours (e.g., 7 AM-3 PM or longer). Projects are located in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, with candidates required to use their own vehicles to get to job sites. Overnight stays are generally not required, but weekend work may be necessary depending on project needs. Job sites include West Deptford, NJ; Hagerstown, MD; and other locations in NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00
