**Job Title: Pipefitter** **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced Pipefitter to join our team for a new-build high school project in central Ohio. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in installing various piping systems and must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. **Responsibilities** + Install piping systems ranging from 3/4 inch to 14 inch. + Work with Propress copper piping, HSP fuseable pipe, and aquatherm pipe. + Handle process piping including pipes, valves, and controls for fluids, gases, and waste. + Install utility piping for steam, hot/cold water, compressed air, and HVAC systems. + Consult blueprints, work orders, schematics, or instructions to determine layouts and connections. + Install piping for plumbing, heating, cooling, gas, and water systems. + Weld, cut, bend, thread, solder, and fit pipes. + Attach pipes and piping systems to walls using brackets, bracket systems, or clamps; cut or bore holes as needed. + Inspect pipes, test for pressure and leaks, and report or resolve any issues. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of pipefitting experience at commercial or industrial construction sites. + Experience with Propress copper piping. + OSHA 10 certification or higher. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints. + Own basic hand tools (cordless drill, wrench, pliers, screwdriver, hammer, etc.). + Reliable transportation and a valid license. + Ability to acquire Boom/Scissor lift certification during onboarding. + Ability to adhere to PPE requirements: Type 2 hard hat with chin strap, gloves, high-visibility vest, safety glasses, and steel toe boots. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Pipefitting Journeyman card/license. + Experience as a millwright, iron/steel worker, and/or pipe welding at commercial or industrial construction sites. + OSHA 30 certification. + Welding and pipe welding experience. **Why Work Here?** We offer per diem for travelers, overtime hours, and the opportunity to work on a long-term project. The role involves working the 1st shift, with 50+ hours per week and the potential for Saturday shifts.
