Job Description
Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial production and processing systems by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities
Piping field verification, layout, cutting, and preparation for welding.
Generate & interpret isometric drawings.
Determine correct material grade, line class, and specifications for various piping systems
Set up, bolt-up, and perform hydro tests.
Determine correct type of pipe supports from isometric drawings.
Work with different types of rigging and determine correct rigging configurations.
Determine correct rated rigging for load being hoisted.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent or ten (10) years Pipefitter experience will be considered.
Minimum five (5) years of experience as a pipefitter required.
Must be proficient with hand and power tools.
Experience with lifting and setting of heavy lift pipe spools, pumps, motors, and structural pipe supports.
Experience and skill in piping craft in an industrial setting.
Knowledge of Victaulic, HDPE Fusion, ABS and Carbon Steel piping.
Knowledge in P&ID interpretation, mathematics, triangulation of complex offsets.
Excellent verbal and written communication with positive interpersonal skills.
Previous experience with fabricating and installing pipelines preferred
Must bring own basic hand tools to job site. List of required hand tools to be provided by NANA Construction at the time of hire.
Driver’s license and acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under company vehicle insurance policy preferred.

The employee must frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. Steel toed boots required on the job.
