Scope of Work:
Fabricate, maintain, and install piping systems. Experience with steam and plumbing systems. Must be able to clean and maintain boilers. Must have ability to troubleshoot steam, air and water systems. Must be able to read and interpret drawings and schematics to install and troubleshoot piping systems. Knowledge of sprinkler and deluge systems desirable.Candidate must be flexible in accepting additional duties as assigned by supervision.Responsibilities:

Education/Experience:
Must be able to pass onsite Pipefitter skills test prior to interviewing.High school diploma required. Must be able to work all three shift schedules, seniority will dictate which shift.Some post high school education is preferred.Must have completed an approved 4 year piping/plumbing apprenticeship and a minimum of four years experience as a journeyman pipefitter/plumber or ten years pipefitting experience in an approved industrial environment. It is preferred the Candidates have pipe and welding certification and must provide documentation showing all applicable experience and training with appropriate references. Essential reading skills are required.
Pay:
The current pay rate for this position is $32.74, since this is a union position, this rate is non-negotiable.
