**Job Title: Pipelayer***** **Pay: $24-30/hour** **Hours: 7am-5pm M-F with opportunity of overtime** **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced pipelayer with a minimum of 2 years' experience in laying water lines, sewer, and storm drains. The ideal candidate will be adept in using steel plates and trench boxes, and must have reliable transportation to travel to multiple job sites in Hampton Roads throughout the work day. **Responsibilities** + Lay water lines, sewer, and storm drains. + Operate excavation equipment such as excavators, loaders, and dozers. + Perform fine and rough grading. + Install utility lines and pipes. + Work with construction and civil teams on pipe installation. + Ensure safety protocols are followed, including the use of steel plates and trench boxes. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in pipelaying. + Experience with fine and rough grading. + Knowledge of utility line installation and pipe laying. + Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. + Reliable transportation to travel to multiple job sites. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Any horizontal construction experience is greatly preferred. + Ability to occasionally work outside of the cab. + Experience in civil construction and pipe installation is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Join a new company that truly invests in its employees and is looking to grow twice in size with internal promotions. Work in small crews on site and perform labor. Wear work clothing and PPE gear, including a hard hat, steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and reflective gear.
