**Job Title: Pipelayer** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Pipelayer to work on large diameter ductile iron and PCCP pipe installations. You will be responsible for prepping the ground, cutting and aligning pipes, and sealing joints, while working closely with the project Superintendent to prioritize tasks. This role involves outdoor work in various weather conditions and requires a solid understanding of pipe laying concepts, procedures, and practices. **Responsibilities** + Work safely on large diameter ductile iron and PCCP pipe installations. + Prepare the ground for pipe installation. + Cut and align pipes accurately. + Seal joints to ensure a secure fit. + Collaborate with the project Superintendent to prioritize and complete tasks. + Apply common pipe laying concepts, procedures, and practices. **Essential Skills** + Ability to read and understand blueprints, diagrams, and grades. + Knowledge of pipe, joints, and aggregates. + At least one (1) year of experience as a Pipe Layer. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with trench boxes. + Underground utilities, construction, pipe laying, and excavation. **Why Work Here?** This is a long-term project offering the opportunity for overtime.
