Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and proven performer to join our Pipeline Commercialization Strategy team. This individual will play a critical role in connecting with Immunology thought leaders, patients, and other healthcare professionals to support early commercial strategies for key assets and indications. The role will regularly interface with physicians, patients, and patient advocacy organizations for in depth insight generation to inform strategic decisions and early brand plans. A strong partnership is required across pipeline cross functional partners including PCS, MABI, Market Access, and International asset team members. The Associate Director will report to the PCS Therapeutic Area VP/Lead and will be based in our offices in Lake County, IL. Key Responsibilities + In collaboration with PCS VP, identify and prioritize key indications across Immunology that require a deep understanding of market trends, patient journey, current landscape, and potential future treatment needs and market potential + Interactions with HCPs, patients, and other stakeholders to provide deep insights and understanding of diseases state, market value drivers, reimbursement or access challenges, patient journey, areas for future opportunities, and potential new approaches for treatment + Responsible for developing and maintaining interactions for the purpose of insight generation. Ability to leverage various channels including Market Research, 1:1 engagements, advisory board meetings. + Collect, interpret and synthesize insights to generate actionable recommendations to inform strategic decisions + Create and manage thought leader engagement strategy across Immunology (pipeline) including mapping of relevant stakeholders, centers of excellence, patient advocacy organizations, and referral networks. + In partnership with TA leadership manage planning, execution and budgeting of Advisory Boards, sponsorships, and expert consulting including content development, execution of contracts, and annual consulting plans + Coordinate efforts with PCS, Medical Affairs, US/International Marketing, and Development for thought leader interactions for key assets for ongoing CBICs and during US and International Conferences + Strong collaboration across multiple cross functional teams including PCS, Asset strategy teams, MABI, Market Access, Medical Affairs, International, and on-market Brand teams, including field based TLLs/RMMs. Travel requirement of up to 30-40% as required for Patient/HCP engagement/immersions Qualifications Skills + Strong understanding of innovation methodologies to enhance quality of customer engagement and impact of insights + Experience developing external customer relationships in the US or at a global level + High Insights EQ to enable synthesis of multiple data sources, develop written insight statements and recommended the pull through of insights into action + Adaptive and iterative work style with a tolerance for ambiguity & navigating complex challenges + Genuinely curious, expansive thinker and immersive learner + Experience in quickly understanding new diseases or markets and strong communication skills to interact effectively with an extensive network of cross functional partners and external stakeholders Qualifications Experience Required + Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Marketing, Life sciences, Market Research) + Minimum 3 years Commercial experience in Sales, Marketing and/or Market Research + Strong understanding of pharmaceutical product development, clinical trials and the healthcare landscape + Experience working with external experts + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced, dynamic environment Preferred + Advanced degree (MBA, PharmD) + Experience in Immunology therapeutic areas such as Rheumatology, Dermatology, Allergy or Gastroenterology + Proven experience in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies + Strong analytical and strategic marketing skills as well as demonstrated ability to learn new disease states + Excellent communication and presentation skills across a variety of organization levels and disciplines, including senior executives Additional Information Applicable only to applicants applying to a position in any location with pay disclosure requirements under state or local law: ​ + The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position.
