Job Description: _(Please add to the description - this is for our internal team to source and assess candidates)_ **What you’ll do on a typical day:** + Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing orders to sales associates for processing + Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped + Fill requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools, and other stock items; distribute items to shipping team + Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for employee and customer traffic + Complete your work in a safe manner; adhere to all safety policies and procedures Experience requirements: _(ex: entry level, 5 years, etc.)_ **What you need to succeed at RXO:** At a minimum, you’ll need: + To be at least 18 years of age + High School Diploma/GED equivalent It’d be great if you also have: + Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends, due to varying freight volumes + Dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry + Experience loading and unloading trailers + Basic written and verbal communication skills Special Requirements or Call outs: _(ex: standing for long hours, lifting requirements, etc.)_ + Standing for extended periods of time + Constant movement throughout the day + Capable of lifting to 50 lbs. on their own with or without Pallet jack/Dolly depending on product + Lifting Requirements up to 75 lbs. or greater (assisted / team lift) Pallet jack/Dolly without Pallet jack/Dolly depending on product This RXO Site Location Requirements or Call outs VERY HEAVY WORKLOAD – Warehouse temps are very warm during the summer time + Moving at steady paste + Finished with task, ask what’s next or seek work independently + Temperatures + Using a drill – (and other tools to build & break down Peloton & MYX bikes) Reminder of key call outs **Physically Demanding** **Washer & Dyers** **Refrigerators** **Mattresses** **Loading and Unloading** **Furniture** **Move at a steady pace** **Peloton Bikes** **Heavy workload Use of pallet jacks** **Use of Dolly’s** **Use of hand carts** **Pay Details:** $17.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
