**Job Title: Skilled Assembler Brazer/Piper**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a Skilled Assembler Brazer/Piper responsible for mounting all major components, installing interconnecting piping, soldering, and pressure testing for commercial/industrial HVAC and refrigeration equipment. The ideal candidate must maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations.
**Responsibilities**
+ Read and understand engineering drawings and instructions.
+ Read and understand bills of material.
+ Operate pipe cutters, threaders, torch, and all necessary equipment.
+ Perform soldering tasks.
+ Check work to ensure quality.
+ Match equipment serial numbers to engineering drawings/bills of materials ensuring 100% accuracy.
+ Sign off all administrative paperwork upon job completion.
+ Locate all equipment, tools, and parts needed for the job.
+ Determine appropriate unit layout based on engineering drawings and equipment functionality.
+ Maneuver in and around units and sustain awkward positions to accurately place components.
+ Layout equipment for ease of serviceability.
**Essential Skills**
+ Ability to read and understand tape measures down to 1/16th inch.
+ Skilled work experience in plumbing, welding, brazing, soldering, and pipefitting.
+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
+ Experience with power tools, hand tools, and mechanical assembly.
+ Ability to operate equipment such as overhead cranes, torch, and mig welder.
+ Knowledge of heat exchangers and mechanical systems.
+ Experience with soldering, brazing, and various types of welding including TIG and MIG.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Positive attitude and ability to work well with leads and supervisors.
+ Flexibility and willingness to cross-train for various job duties.

**Work Environment**
The position operates on the 1st shift from Monday to Friday, 6am-4:30pm, with overtime as required. The work is performed in an industrial production area for a manufacturer of refrigeration and HVAC equipment. The employee will be constantly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles, with high noise levels in some areas. The work environment includes exposure to extreme temperatures in both winter and summer. The role may involve stress caused by the pressure of meeting deadlines, maintaining product quality standards, and seasonal variations in hours worked based on production demands.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pryor, Oklahoma.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.50
