Learn more about how our innovative piping products and design services can engineer confidence into your build by visiting our website. The Role As a BIM Piping Coordinator,  you will oversee piping designs, material logistics, and project alignment, serving as a key link between clients and teams while supporting project and training efforts. What you will doPrepare piping layout drawings, isometric drawings, spool sheet drawings/cut sheets with complete BOM’s (bill-of-materials) from customer furnished drawings and vendor data in Revit.Perform checking functions for drawings and BOMs (plans and sections, isometrics, spool sheets, BOMs) using AutoDesk Construction Cloud, ensuring adherence to VDC procedures and standards.Conduct project reviews, kick-off meetings, maintain customer contact, and manage other job control functions.Coordinate complete project material handling from manufacturing to installation (e.g., bagging & tagging, expediting, fabrication of combination Victaulic and welded spools, field logistics, etc.).Prepare and coordinate the complete BEP (Basic Engineering Package) to transfer projects to other VDC offices, adhering to established guidelines, provide assistance and participate in daily coordination meetings with the other VDC offices.Provide weekly status updates to the VDC Coordinator for all assigned projects and assist with project closeout and customer satisfaction reports.Prepare Advanced BOMs and assist the Customer Care Department with material delivery requirements and updates.Review incoming projects and prepare VDC Drawing Quotes.Assist the Sales Department with the presentation of VDC Drawing Quotes as required.Travel to job sites to obtain accurate field measurements (3D Laser Scan) and interact with customers and Victaulic salespeople as necessary.Assist in training Draftspersons, Trainees, and Interns.Participate in Lean implementation and the Victaulic Quality Improvement Process.About youTechnical School education required.3–5 years of solid engineering/design experience required. Piping in HVAC and/or industrial sectors preferred.Proficient in piping specification engineering; pipe support experience is a plus.Familiarity with Excel, Microsoft Word, and AutoCAD is required. Knowledge of piping software, Revit and/or AutoDesk Construction Cloud is beneficial.Must possess project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, expediting, material coordination, organizing information, customer interfacing, and preparing drawing issues for customers.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills required.Proficiency in French and English is required.Ability to travel domestically and internationally (less than 5% travel required)What working at Victaulic offersAttractive remuneration package - including, a health insurance, pension plan, meal vouchers and eco vouchers.Personal growth - Cultivate personal growth through a well-defined career path offering annual progression opportunities.
