Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Piping Designer to support project managers with pipeline design and construction projects. This position involves preparing all design drawings necessary for client projects related to mechanical piping. You will work closely with Lead Designers, Project Managers, and other team members to ensure the productive use of AutoCAD in preparing facility design packages for natural gas, natural gas liquids, oil, CO2, and other products associated with the oil and gas industry.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare design drawings for mechanical piping to support client projects.Collaborate with Lead Designers, Project Managers, and other team members.Contribute to the design team to ensure productive use of AutoCAD.Create facility design packages for natural gas, natural gas liquids, oil, CO2, and other related products.Essential SkillsExperience in mechanical piping design.Proficiency in 3D Design and AutoCAD.Familiarity with P&ID, CADWorx, and Civil 3D.1+ years of piping design experience in a consulting environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with utility, plant, and industrial projects.Work Environment
You will be working in a medium-sized engineering office with 35-50 people, including field engineers and project managers. The office is located in Kentucky and operates as a multidisciplinary environment. The company offers a variety of services including project development consulting, project management, land/ROW services, surveys, engineering & design, mapping/GIS, construction management, inspection, and operations & maintenance consulting.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00
