Job Title: Piping Designer
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Piping Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the oil and gas turbine industry and will be responsible for making necessary modifications to existing equipment using CAD software. This role involves utilizing software such as PDMS and AutoCAD to make changes as needed and working with P&ID diagrams. The candidate must have experience in using 2D/3D software in piping design.

ResponsibilitiesEvaluate existing equipment in the oil and gas turbine industry and make necessary modifications using CAD software.Utilize software such as PDMS and AutoCAD to implement changes.Work with P&ID diagrams to ensure accurate design modifications.Perform walk downs and manage chill packages.Collaborate with a team of designers and provide input on oil and gas spill projects.Support various phases of project execution, including conceptual design, detailed design, and construction.Essential Skills6+ years of experience in Piping Design.6+ years of experience with PDMS/AutoCAD.Proficiency in 2D/3D modeling (CAD Design).Experience in the oil and gas, mechanical, and pipe design industries.Additional Skills & QualificationsExpertise in CAD software (AutoCAD, PDMS), 3D modeling software (PDMS, PDS, SP3D), and other design tools.Familiarity with industry standards such as ASME, ANSI, API, and other relevant codes.Experience with various phases of project execution, including conceptual design, detailed design, and construction support.Work Environment

The candidate will work on site with other designers to complete tasks for the end customer. The work environment includes both office settings and on-site locations, requiring collaboration and hands-on involvement in project activities. This position offers the opportunity to work on a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension and the potential for a full-time hire.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $44.00 - $48.00/hr.
