Piping Integration Designer for High-Speed Unit Compressed Air Systems

We collaborate with colleagues abroad to develop modern rail vehicles, addressing both overall layout and subsystem design. Our work focuses on creating innovative products in urban and railway transportation. We have the capability to manage global projects independently, covering the entire process from requirement definition to software/hardware and mechanical development, as well as cross-disciplinary topics at the full vehicle level.

Job responsibilities:

Development and design of modern high-speed rail units. Design and integration of compressed air piping, including the development of required components. Additionally, designing sandboxes and wheel flange lubrication systems in collaboration with suppliers. Resolving technical details in cooperation with other Engineering departments to find cost- and weight-optimized solutions, as well as working with procurement colleagues. Participating in projects from the bid phase through design and production implementation, including supporting manufacturing during the production process. Ensuring project execution within the required timeframe, quality, and cost constraints, participating in project meetings, reviews, and presenting results. Managing and coordinating internal and external team members in the Czech Republic and abroad, collaborating with subcontractors (international), and overseeing the production of proprietary design solutions.

Requirements:

University degree in mechanical engineering. Experience in mechanical design and understanding of materials used in relevant assemblies.Experience in the Rolling Stock industry Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficiency in English or German (B2 level) and Czech. Experience with 3D CAD modeling (Creo is an advantage). Knowledge of MS Office. Responsible and structured approach.
