Position Overview: We are seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join our Commercial Construction team as a Piping Mechanic. In this role, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate and grow your skills in the trade, along with training and teaching apprentices and helpers. \n

Responsibilities:\n\nThorough knowledge in the mechanical piping trade in either welding (carbon steel pipe), pipe fitting, or both\nWelding experience a plus - Stick welding on pipe\nAbility to read and interpret construction\/coordination drawings and blueprints\nWork as a trainer and mentor for helpers and apprentices\nMust be open to helping other mechanical trades as needed - you will not weld all day, every day. \nMust be dependable and willing to complete a project from start to finish\nMust have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation\n\n
Requirements:\n\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nVocational school or prior training preferred.\nBasic understanding of trade principles and concepts.\nStrong interest in the trade and a desire to learn and develop new skills.\nExcellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.\nGood physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills.\nCommitment to safety and following established protocols.\nPre-employment drug screen and background check will be performed. \n\n
