Piping Stress Engineer
Our client, a globally leading EPC company is looking for an experienced Piping Stress Engineer to join them on a three month contract, outside IR35.
Duties include: Extensive experience using Caesar II software for analysis of Gas and Oil Transmission Pipelines in accordance with B31.4 and B31.3 Process Piping. Proficient in handling static and dynamic load cases (including seismic, slug flow, check valve closure), and capable of both originating and checking analyses. Responsible for piping engineering and design for oil refineries and chemical plants, including grassroots and revamp projects. Performing manual and computer stress analysis of pipe systems, ensuring compliance with codes, client and government regulations, and equipment criteria. Selecting and specifying piping flexibility and supporting components, and reviewing vendor drawings and calculations Requirements: Relevant degree or apprenticeship  15 years of relevant work experience
