**Description** **Essential Functions** + Actively supports the Company’s commitment to safety and its “Core Values.” + Represents the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company’s “Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.” + Plans and supervises work activities. Determines method of construction, safety procedures and requirements, manpower levels, material quantities, equipment, temporary power sources, work schedule and documents actual hours worked. + Coordinates assigned work with different crafts, company departments and/or subcontractors. + Maintains liaison with safety department, engineering, estimating and planning to ensure work complies with safety policies, drawings, specifications and schedules. + Assists in resolving construction problems and safety issues, as required. + Conducts accident investigations with safety department, as required. + Maintains communication with the HR Department to resolve issues of requisitioning required manpower. + Monitors craft compliance with project safety program requirements. Documents and ensures corrective measures are implemented. + Maintains liaison with other departments (Material Control, Purchasing, Quality Control, and Engineering) to ensure all required materials, equipment, inspections, etc., support craft activities and project schedule. + Conducts field safety audits, as required and maintains a complete understanding of Corporate Safety Manual and requirements. + Performs additional responsibilities, as directed. **Qualifications** + 6+ years’ experience in similar facility, including construction technology, methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures; 1+ years’ experience supervising craft employees. + 4-year engineering degree or equivalent combination of technical training and experience. + Advanced understanding of construction scheduling and cost control. + Ability to supervise large groups. + Demonstrated ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize performance. + Excellent oral and written communication skills; good computer skills including MS Word and Excel. **Physical Requirements** + Work includes field inspections and audits and the physical ability to conduct these field duties which require the following activities: + Must have the ability to walk into and out of the project via turnstile access. + Extensive walking in and around a construction site. + Tasks at heights including climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, working on elevated platforms, and working on uneven surfaces. + Ability to work in small or confined spaces. + Ability to push, pull, lift, or carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds. + Must be able to use appropriate standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. fall protection harness, hard hat, etc.). + Ability to be fit tested for and use a respirator. + Ability to perform work outside, which may include exposure to all types of weather conditions **EEO/M/F/Disability/Vets/Affirmative Action Employer** _We are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
