As a Pit Loader Operator, you will operate a large loader to load haul trucks with stone that is then transported to the crusher. Preference will be given to candidates with experience operating heavy equipment, such as loaders. Compensation $23.00 - $25.00 per hour Main Responsibilities + Promote safe work practices and an excellent safety environment + Responsible for safe and efficient operation of all equipment + Complete daily inspections and maintenance checklist + Participate in pre-shift safety huddles + Responsible to follow all onsite MSHA and environmental requirements + Perform routine maintenance and various equipment repairs as needed + Responsible for reporting incidents and accidents to supervisors Skills + Ability to operate a large loader safely and efficiently + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions + Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced employees Physical Requirements + Able to lift up to 50 pounds + Able to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl + Able to work in wet and/or dry conditions and extreme heat and cold Benefits Our company is not only a phenomenal place to work, but we also have outstanding benefits, such as: + Comprehensive health, dental, vision + 401k match + Life insurance, AD&D + Teladoc + Health advocate, and many more!
