Job Description
As a Plan Check Engineer, you will provide plan checking services to multiple municipal and public agency clients. Your work will involve reviewing engineering documents such as Grading, Street Improvement, Storm Drain, Sewer, and similar plans for their agreement with standards, codes, and sound engineering practices. You will also review survey documents like lot line adjustments, parcel mergers, legal descriptions, and other similar documents. Additionally, you will review drainage documents such as hydrology studies, WQMPs, SWPPPs, and other similar documents. You will engage and interact with clients and engineers for reviews.

Work Environment
You will be part of a team of 3 Plan Checkers, working under the supervision of a Project Manager. The company boasts a very laid-back culture and most employees have been working with each other for over 10 years. The work hours are flexible with a preferred start time of 8 AM. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, and a hybrid schedule is open for consideration based on experience. The work environment includes cubicles in a pit area for designers, with engineers working separately. It's a very collaborative work environment.
Additional Information:Compensation: $100,000 - $150,000 / Year ($50.00 - $75.00/Hr)Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision/Sick Pay/PTO/Holiday
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr.
