This position is an integral part of the leadership team for Boreal Ridge Corporation and will execute on the development and operation of Planet Kids at Soda Springs Ski Resort. The Planet Kids Assistant Manager is responsible for safety, guest service, and staff oversight during daily operations in the Planet Kids department. Resort leadership should effectively promote and execute the delivery of exceptional guest service that will exceed our guest’s expectations and enhance their winter sports experience in an atmosphere of safety, fun, and learning. This position duties includes but is not limited to assigning work zones and lessons, checking daily labor, and monitoring quality of work. This Assistant Manager will work with other departments to ensure proper lesson and ticket sales, and organization. Assistant managers are required to have a general knowledge of safety procedures and PPE use, ensuring all staff work in a safe manner when around large machines, power tools, chemicals, and hand tools. Assistant Managers will provide valuable input in staff meetings and administer safety meetings with their department.  They will make sure each staff member is in full uniform while working and following all company policies.

Additionally, the Planet Kids Assistant Manager will conduct staff evaluations, be responsible for inputting staff hours and lessons, and assist the Guest Operations Manager with on-boarding, staff trainings, and separation procedures.
