Volt is seeking a Planner located in Brea CA

\r\n\r\n

As a Planner you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tObtain and review production progress report from the oversea factory; communicate the production urgency and priorities by creating and distributing Production Schedules\r\n\tTrack incoming Overseas shipment and work with import broker. Communicate final shipment destination\r\n\tCreate a master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates.\r\n\tCreate and release Job Orders to the shop floor, including all elements of the job package.\r\n\tReceive and fulfill Transfer Orders from our Corporate and Parts Department sites.\r\n\tEffectively communicate with Production, and Shipping Dept to ensure product is shipped in a timely manner.\r\n\tAdvises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed\r\n\tConduct daily progress checks, confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned production schedule.\r\n\tCreate, update, and maintain Item masters.\r\n\tPerform other related duties as assigned by management.\r\n\r\n\r\n

Ideal candidate will have:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\t1-2 years of experience in Production Control or Production Planning position\r\n\tComputer Knowledge (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Infor Syteline, MRP systems)\r\n\tStrong verbal and written communication skills\r\n\tAbility to analyze production data and develop solutions\r\n\tAbility to work well in a cross-functional team setting\r\n\tAbility to prioritize multiple projects\r\n\tKnowledge of operations & manufacturing production planning\r\n\tKnowledge of Kaizen Continuous Improvement\r\n\tRequire basic IT knowledge\r\n\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate: $23.00-$25.00/per hour

\r\n\r\n
