Description:
-Manage the preparation and analysis of material forecasts, interpreting MRP output and negotiating purchases. -Develop finite schedule to optimize plant operations balanced with the needs of the business -Manage production materials requirements from engineering, including sourcing alternate materials to facilitate less than lead-time builds. -Administer ERP data for manufacturing, shipping, materials and quality control -Ensure business has a steady flow of stock without overcapitalizing on materials -Identify and communicate current and future inventory issues, as well as developing sound recovery plans -Participate in innovative, metric driven processes and projects to achieve supply chain excellence -Complete demand planning analysis and recommends solutions to capacity problems -Collaborate with suppliers and product managers to identify and reconcile gaps and supply shortages
