Our client in Columbus, OH is seeking a Planner to join their team. As a Planner, you will be part of the Emerging Team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Planner
**Location:** Reynoldsburg, Ohio (Hybrid preferred: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in Columbus)
**Pay Range:** $41.38 per hour
**What's the Job?**
+ Responsible for translating the Merchant’s vision into viable plans and profitable results.
+ Develop and maintain sales, inventory, and margin plans that tie to financial targets for an assigned book of business.
+ Planning responsibilities will include Sub-Brand, Category/Class, and assortment plans.
+ Collaborate with the Demand Forecaster to ensure that demand plans incorporate statistically based forecasts, merchandise plans, and business knowledge.
+ Support day-to-day financial performance analysis along with product performance and seasonal financial projections and product planning.
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelor’s degree in finance, operations, economics, business, statistics, or equivalent experience.
+ 2+ years of experience in retail merchandise planning, demand planning, inventory management, allocation, or replenishment.
+ Proficient in Excel-based functions, capabilities, and features.
+ 2-3 years of MP&A experience preferred.
+ Ability to work with differing personalities and approaches to tasks.
