Position Overview

The Planner will be responsible for calculating demand requirements for assigned products, coordinating with manufacturing to generate build schedules, and releasing work orders. The Planner will participate as a supply chain representative on ERP, such as Netsuite and SAP, project enhancements, and reporting requests. The Planner will also be responsible for managing new part creation or change, investigating change impact, creating and maintaining bill of material (BOM) according to defined processes, creating requisitions to fulfill planned demand, and for participating in sales and operations planning (S&OP) processes.

Essential Duties

include but are not limited to the following:

Participate in enterprise resource planning (ERP) integrations and updates.Coordinate with manufacturing to develop a production schedule.Manage new part set-up, bills of materials, product forecasts, re-order points, work orders, and planning attributes.Support of continuous improvement within the ERP system and other systems utilized by the supply chain team.Route quality system documents for review and assessment by expanded cross-functional teams and coordinate actions and follow up as a result of the review.Identify and communicate changes in schedules and delivery with applicable teams and end users to achieve resolution.Work closely with manufacturing to determine stocking levels and expedite orders.Prepare reports, metrics, and data summaries as requested.Participate in production planning utilizing ERP and manual systems.Assist the accounting team with timely resolution and information gathering related to work order variances or concerns.Prepare information for meetings to help highlight/resolve supply or production issues.Keep the supply chain manager informed of all activities.Ensure appropriate approvals are obtained on either the requisition or purchase order to support order placement.Ability to check requisitions for completeness and clarity, obtain any missing information, if needed, to support clear purchase order generation.Ability to follow documented procedures at they relate to business process or quality requirements.Strong attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in team situations, as well as independently.Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, frequently changing, and evolving environment.Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.Maintain regular and reliable attendance.Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.Ability to lift up to 10 pounds for approximately 5% of a typical working day.Ability and means to travel 5% between Exact locations.Ability to travel 5% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, Supply Chain, or related field; or High School Degree or General Education Degree (GED) and 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree.3+ years of related work experience in a biotech or medical device field, preferably in a GMP and/or ISO 13485 environment.Professional working knowledge of NetSuite, SAP, or with equivalent ERP system.Proficient computer skills to include Internet navigation, Email usage, and word processing.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in HIPPA/CLIA regulated environment.APICS CPIM certification.#LI-HE1

Salary Range:

$60,000.00 - $97,000.00

 

The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to receive company stock upon hire as well as annually.
