Our client is seeking a Turnaround Planner to join their team. As a Turnaround Planner, you will be part of the Maintenance and Planning department supporting plant operations and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and planning skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality, which will align successfully with the organization.
**Job Title:** Turnaround Planner
**Location:** Gonzales, LA
Pay Rate: $34-$36/hour
**What’s the Job?**
+ Develop and coordinate detailed maintenance and repair plans for plant turnarounds.
+ Schedule and monitor maintenance and repair activities to ensure efficient operations and minimal downtime.
+ Collaborate with engineering, operations, and contractor teams to ensure turnaround success.
+ Create detailed job planning packages, including P&IDs, tools, BOMs, and safe work procedures.
+ Lead assigned portions of the outage scope, providing daily schedule updates and execution support.
**What’s Needed?**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field.
+ 5+ years of experience in electrical maintenance, engineering disciplines, or industrial outages.
+ Proficiency in SAP, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
+ Ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings and P&IDs.
+ Strong leadership abilities and a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.
+ 5+ years of Electrical journey-level maintenance experience and/or electrical maintenance planning.
+ 5+ years’ experience in maintenance and/or engineering disciplines, preferably with experience in industrial outages, LV & HV Motors, heaters, power distribution equipment, and general preventative maintenance on various electrical components.
