Hexcel is currently seeking a Planner for our Burlington, WA location. Hexcel Burlington has a great plant culture valuing diversity, safety, and working together as a team to achieve strong results. Summary pay range: $66,124 – $113,356 annual salary.
The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:
Manage production schedules per production team based on Master Scheduler direction. Maintain accurate dates, ensure material availability to start production orders, update Customer Service/Sales on re-commit dates as needed, and communicate with Master Scheduler on late/at-risk production orders.Manage the Material Requirement Planning system (MRP). This includes but is not limited to releasing work orders, reconciling and posting inventory journals, assisting with scrap and inventory adjustments and financially ending production orders.Purchase raw materials (Honeycomb core). Update purchase orders as necessary to meet plant demand and communicate priority lists and adjustments in schedule.Complete assigned cycle counts. This will be a percentage of overall counts due per month to meet quarterly requirements.Manage aging and obsolete material. Complete other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Associates and/or higher college degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years’ experience preferred in planning/purchasing related functions; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Strong oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skillsAbility to take initiative, maintains confidentiality, meet deadlines, and work in a team environment. Exceptional organizational abilities, proven problem solving, facilitation and administrative skills required.Proficient computer skills using MS Office Products (Word, Excel and Access).
