We have an outstanding Contract position for a Planner to join a leading Company located in the Marysville, WA surrounding area.
Pay Rate: $25
The Planner is responsible for overseeing all planning activities to ensure the successful delivery of the product. This position will be responsible for performing tasks and duties associated with product manufacture planning, including producing schedules, material lists, and production plans.
Responsibilities:Read, interpret, and create level Bill of Material.Evaluate shortages and manage prompt solutions, keeping appropriate stakeholders informed of any potential problem as required.Analyzes demand and plans supply in accordance, ensures efficient and quality execution of requirements and purchasing action messages, and manages supplier delivery, quality, and cost performance and improvement.Ensures material flow and production activity are aligned.Reads and reviews engineering drawings and documentation and coordinates any changes.Supports testing and certification requirements for new programs.Preserves engineering revision control.Confirm the accuracy of pertinent data in the company ERP system.Collaborates with stakeholders on lead times, planning items, and any related elements.Performs work under direct supervision.Handles basic issues and problems and escalates more complex issues to higher-level staff.Active participation in operational improvement activities.Other tasks as needed; flexibility is key.Overtime required as needed.
Basic Hiring Criteria:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Minimum 1-2 years of experience.
Desired Qualifications:Possesses working knowledge of subject matter.MS Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint).Planning, logistics certification.Previous supply chain/logistics.MRP system experience.Ability to read and analyze engineering prints.Dedication and commitment to ensure all work is completed without exception.Willingness to learn and develop new competencies.Strong written and verbal business communication abilities.Self-starter with the ability to drive improvement and meet timelines and objectives.Identifying problems working with teams to solve through leading actions collaboratively.Ability to analyze and communicate requirements.Ability to negotiate, influence, and win respect.Ability to make timely decisions and take action.Ability to provide information regarding tasks, plans, schedules, and strategies to stakeholders.Customer service oriented.
