Job Description

We are seeking a Planner with 5-8 years of experience to manage the entitlements process for properties, ensuring compliance with zoning ordinances, setbacks, and parking requirements. The ideal candidate will coordinate submissions to various agencies and secure necessary approvals such as certificates of compliance and rezoning. You will design sites from early conceptual stages through development, work closely with municipalities, and collaborate with Civil Engineers and other design professionals. Additionally, you will conduct site surveys, gather accurate field measurements, attend public hearings, and represent the company. You will also edit and create supporting architectural documents, engage with engineering consultants, and oversee project timelines.

ResponsibilitiesManage the entitlements process for properties, ensuring compliance with zoning ordinances, setbacks, and parking requirements.Coordinate submissions to various agencies and secure necessary approvals such as certificates of compliance and rezoning.Design sites from early conceptual stages through development.Work closely with municipalities, including county and city agencies.Collaborate with Civil Engineers and other design professionals.Conduct site surveys and gather accurate field measurements.Attend public hearings and represent the company.Edit and create supporting architectural documents, such as specifications, reports, and schedules.Engage with engineering consultants and oversee project timelines.Essential SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.Strong understanding of zoning ordinances and the entitlements process.Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or related field.5-8 years of experience in planning.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in system engineering related to architectural documents.Familiarity with mechanical design and drafting.Work Environment

This role offers a flexible schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, which can be chosen by the employee. We offer a half-day on Fridays and flexible hours. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $95000.00/yr.

100% ESOP Company
Quarterly profit distribution (after the first year)
PTO changes every year, sick time is included in PTO
The hours given to new employees are based on years of professional experience.
210 hours a year = 8.08 hours accrued per pay period
160 hours a year = 6.15 hours accrued per pay period
