Job Title: Production PlannerJob Description Work with Program Managers, Production Managers, and Production Leads to schedule Manufacturing Orders through the various production areas to ensure schedule completion dates and customer commit dates are met. Assist with reviewing customer orders and releasing orders to meet customer requirements. Responsibilities + Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules + Attend daily Production/Shipping Meeting and assist with leading Daily schedule meetings + Assist with prioritizing schedules to optimize workflows to meet schedule completion and commit dates + Communicate schedules with Production Manager, Leads, Program Managers, and Management + Drive to eliminate barriers that affect meeting schedule completion dates and customer commit dates + Ensure work-in-process manufacturing accuracy and facilitate communication between Production, Planning, Purchasing, Materials, Engineering, and Program Managers + Release assigned customer production orders in Business System (CMS) + Communicate and coordinate action plans to eliminate Manufacturing Order material shortages with Production, Materials, and Purchasing + Communicate ship schedule misses, commit date delays, and revised commit days to Program Managers and customers when applicable Essential Skills + High school diploma or equivalent + 3+ years of production planning experience + Familiarity with MRP systems and ISO procedures and requirements + High level of proficiency in Windows, Excel, and Word + Excellent communication skills + Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and strong customer service skills + Ability to work in a team environment Additional Skills & Qualifications + Good understanding of production processes + Driven to troubleshoot and problem-solve Work Environment 100% onsite with an 8-hour shift starting at 7:30 am. The team consists of three people, and this is a contract position with the potential for extension. The normal environment is quiet and typical of an open cubicle setting, with some areas that may be louder at times. The role reports to the Director of Supply Chain. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.50 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
