Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for planning, preparing, and releasing detailed production schedules for assigned organizations to support manufacturing of standard component parts, subassemblies or assemblies.Responsible for Revenue Plan as based on Backlog and forecast firming within 12 weeks

Should be able to predict Revenue / Project expected past dues, Project Past Due burn down - Ownership of OTD

Utilize a complete knowledge of applicable scheduling procedures, techniques and documentation, and knowledge of assigned production activities and related supporting organizations.Based on demonstrated Capacity, level load production of backlog, pulling in or strategizing offloading to support OTD.Analyze area requirements or tasks to be performed to determine production flow, lead times, raw materials, tooling, or supplies required to manufacture components and assemblies. Plan part quantities and release dates to ensure uninterrupted operations.Analyze Daily Bookings of assigned product codes to catch and mitigate drop-ins, orders placed inside lead-time or order entry errors.Frequent contact is required with marketing, methods engineering, document, or production control and purchasing to obtain or present information applicable to assigned scheduling.Develop and initiate master or detailed schedules to support manufacturing of components and assemblies in assigned area. Verify predetermined methods or routing data, prepare or release optimum quantities for fabrication runs, screen parts for multiple usage to avoid schedule problems or to insure a steady flow of materials. Adjust master or detail schedules according to engineering or methods changes to new releases, priority upgrades, rework dispositions, component or assembly shortages, or supporting supply problems. Maintain product status data to compare/monitor the progress of production and report to both internal and external customers.Performs other duties as necessary or that may be assigned.Place purchase orders with vendors to support build plan’s.Expedite/Negotiate lead times/due dates with vendors to support build plans.

Experience & Education

 

Required:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations or Engineering, Inventory Management or Business.Knowledgeable with Supply Chain metrics and MRP systemsAbility to suggest MRP Parameter Changes / lot sizing / Increasing Inventory TurnsAbility to analyze production data and develop solutions.Ability to implement Lean Strategy for JIT components reducing inventoryAbility to work well in a cross-functional team setting.High visible energy, sense of urgency, and ownershipAdvanced Excel Skills: able to create Macro’s, utilize power query and create cross functional spreadsheets.Effective communication skills to teams and upper managementAbility to manage several tasks and priorities at a time3+ years of related experience and/or trainingStrategic Buying Capability
