Description We are offering a long-term contract opportunity for a Planner Scheduler, Assoc in the industry of transmission and substation operations, based in Juno Beach, Florida. The role entails assisting with planning activities, coordinating maintenance planning, and project execution. The job also involves monitoring and improving work management, assisting in event response, and leading the scheduling and tracking of maintenance compliance and project progress.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with the development and execution of plant work orders
• Coordinate and improve the execution of work management for transmission nuclear activities
• Collaborate with various teams for maintenance planning and project execution
• Sustain a streamlined communication channel for efficient operations
• Conduct root cause analysis for any event response and prevent re-occurrence
• Lead scheduling and tracking for maintenance compliance at nuclear sites
• Implement procedures to ensure compliance and adherence to standards
• Utilize leadership skills to guide and supervise the operations team
• Utilize project management skills for effective project progress tracking
• Apply engineering principles to optimize operational efficiency. Requirements • Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Understand operations and planning strategies within a business context
• Familiarity with standard procedures and compliance regulations
• Experience with scheduling tasks and projects
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and techniques
• Evidence of leadership skills, ideally in a team-oriented environment
• Experience with onboarding processes and procedures
• Engineering knowledge or background is beneficial
• Familiarity with staffing procedures and considerations
• Regular and reliable attendance is expected for this role
• Experience in liaising with suppliers and managing supplier relationships
• Knowledge of commission functions within a business context
• Ability to work onsite as per business needs
• Experience in managing an expense account
• Familiarity with the operations of a business unit
• Experience in creating and implementing validation plans
• Ability to manage work orders effectively
• Six Sigma certification or experience would be advantageous
• Ability to work within specified time frames
• Knowledge of cyber security principles and best practices
• Ability to work under direct supervision when necessary
• Experience in monitoring and reporting on project progress
• Familiarity with yard management or operations is beneficial.
