Job Description

Collaborate with Operations to strategically plan production, focusing on best practices to maximize run rates, campaign sizes, and other strategic initiatives to enhance production capacity.

ResponsibilitiesStrategically plan production with Operations to maximize run rates and campaign sizes.Lead and develop analyses using advanced analytics and data-driven processes.Establish, develop, and maintain demand planning tools for raw material, packaging, and finished goods inventory levels.Work cross-functionally with other departments to maintain demand planning tools.Develop and maintain forecast models incorporating business intelligence from Sales, Marketing, and Finance.Analyze historical sales trends and research demand drivers to evaluate forecast accuracy.Coordinate and develop product forecasts by interacting cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Operations.Drive continuous improvement in sales analyses and forecasting processes.Create and maintain short and intermediate-range work center schedules and production plans for both onsite and outsourced locations using Syteline.Participate in Capacity Planning by recommending changes in lead time and adjusting stock replenishment volumes.Ensure on-time order completion by collaborating with the shop floor, production supervisors, and transportation departments.Collaborate with manufacturing and sales to establish priorities regarding grades, output, uptime, loading, and crewing.Provide feedback to production to improve inventory and reporting accuracy.Escalate inventory-related issues to leadership.Analyze daily scheduling problems and opportunities and facilitate problem-solving.Release daily schedules.Essential SkillsProficiency in reading and comprehending written instructions.Prior experience in Planning/Scheduling.Experience working with various team members: Inventory, Purchasing, Procurement, Warehouse floor.Management and process-driven experience.3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.ERP/MRP System experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.Completion of APICS or CPM courses and certifications.Familiarity with Bill of Material structuring.Experience with ERP/MRP systems.Work Environment

Onsite, 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.

Benefits: Starts on the 61st day is when Health Insurance starts.
