An automotive company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Planning Analyst (Budget & Systems) to join their growing team. This position is based at their Costa Mesa, CA location and will be 100% onsite. The role will focus on budgeting, systems analysis, and supporting new product introduction within a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:Work closely with cross-functional teams (HR, Finance, IT) to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the company’s budget and forecasting systems.Support supply chain and manufacturing functions through detailed analysis and reporting.Manage and update Bills of Materials (BOM) and assist with new product introductions (NPI).Contribute to the company’s annual budgeting and forecasting cycle, ensuring alignment with operational goals.Use advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI to track, report, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).Collaborate with the commercial team to support financial planning and decision-making.Ensure high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in all deliverables.Requirements:5+ years of experience in a planning or systems analyst role with a strong understanding of budget systems.BOM experience is a must.Strong in budgeting and forecasting with a focus on operational excellence.Supply chain knowledge and experience, ideally within manufacturing environments.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced) and familiarity with Power BI or similar reporting tools.Experience with ERP systems; automotive industry experience is a plus but not required.A proactive mindset with a keen attention to detail and a competitive spirit.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally within a team-oriented environment.Knowledge of new product introduction processes and managing forecasting cycles (typically up to a year out).

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00
