About the Opportunity

For our Global Delivery Organization (GDO) in Krakow we are currently looking for a Planning and Scheduling Engineer to work  within Energy & Environment International Business Group. Key Responsibilities\:

Project Controls Leadership\: Manage relationships between estimating, planning/scheduling, cost control, and risk management functions. Cross-Discipline Collaboration\: Establish and leverage relationships within the business group to facilitate planning and scheduling. Industry Insight\: Understand emerging business/industry trends and their implications for planning/scheduling. Team Leadership\: Provide planning/scheduling leadership on project teams, offering advice and counsel. Strategy Development\: Create and execute strategies for planning/scheduling activities that support project requirements. Work Plan Development\: Develop project work plans and schedules that align with project milestones. Schedule Management\: Lead the management of project schedules, updating with actual progress and forecasting remaining durations. Risk Analysis\: Prepare schedule risk analysis and implement contingency management using Monte-Carlo simulation techniques. Labor Forecasting\: Establish and maintain project labor hour forecasts. Schedule Analysis\: Prepare and issue schedule analysis narratives with recommendations for corrective actions. Field Experience Application\: Apply practical field experience to identify challenges and suggest mitigation plans. Procedure Implementation\: Deploy, implement, and train on standard planning/scheduling procedures. Coordination\: Coordinate with other project controls and project team disciplines to develop deliverables. Earned Value Systems\: Supervise the development and implementation of earned value systems to measure project progress. Status Reporting\: Provide timely feedback and supervise the development of status reports that communicate schedule status and critical path. Mentorship\: Tutor and guide junior project controls staff in planning/scheduling procedures. Ad Hoc Support\: Support Project Managers in ad hoc tasks. *

Here's What You'll Need 

Master’s degree in construction management, engineering, project management, or related technical field. Proficiency in planning/scheduling systems (Primavera and MS Project). Excellent English oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate complex planning/scheduling information to varied audiences. Experience in writing project status reports and schedule narratives. Understanding of EPC/full-service project delivery processes. Experience in engineering work processes, Gantt charts, Critical Path Analysis, and earned value progress. Effective leadership in planning/scheduling activities. Ability to promote a positive working atmosphere and motivate peers and junior staff. Independent, proactive, accurate, with strong analytical and organizing skills.
