Description We are on the search for a Planning and Zoning Administrator to join our team!. In this role, you will be involved in various aspects of project management within our organization. This includes the efficient and accurate processing of customer applications, maintaining customer credit records, and handling customer inquiries. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Utilize Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook to manage timelines and organize files • Perform data entry tasks, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date • Assist in shipping functions by organizing and scanning documents • Collaboratively work with the team to review site/subdivision plans and issue zoning permits • Assist in the enforcement of zoning/subdivision ordinances and handle any arising duties • Serve as staff support to the Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals, when necessary. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Strong customer service skills • Experience in data entry with high attention to detail • Ability to manage and adhere to multiple timelines • Excellent organizational skills with a focus on organizing files • Experience with scanning techniques and equipment • Familiarity with shipping functions and procedures • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Proven ability to work collaboratively with a team • Demonstrated problem-solving skills • High degree of professionalism and integrity.
